JHFC U13 v Morcombe Academy

Twenty four hours after a poor showing against Accrington Stanley the U13 squad faced Morcombe FC.

Morcombe did the nobel thing and left out their 4 big hitters.

Morcombe FC used this game against the strong U13 side to mixed talented signed regulars with fringe players and 2 trialists.  It was a great game from the off and the sides looked very well-matched. 

The U13 had received very clear instructions as to what was required and the lads carried it out in a manner far beyond their years.  From the keeper to the second sub the lads were superb. 

The run out was a brilliant indicator that the U13 will be a top grass roots team this coming season
