U7s Bold Rangers Friendly 3/8/19
Cracking performance today. Very close first half that ended 4-4, we ran away with it in the second though with some lovely football. Here’s the report.
The first half was tight yet entertaining with the lead changing hands many times. Hoops got off to a good start when Max Woodall played in Max Garvin who turned and finished well. Bold then got two of their own, the second a thunderbolt that no one was going to save. That didn’t deter us and we were soon level when Max G returned the favour and set up Max W from a corner and he made no mistake. Alfie then went on a run and after a couple of nice tricks that created space he put in a cross that Jacob finished well. Once again Bold came back and were soon back in front but with the last kick of the half we drew level again when Kell intercepted a pass before going on a run that saw him set up Alfie who scored again.
We started the second half like a train and scored three in the first three minutes!. Once again Kell was the instigator as he intercepted a pass before setting Max W free and he scored. Max W added another when he finished despite the close attention of a Bold defender and from the kick off Alfie put the player in possession under pressure which saw him win the ball and he went on to score well. Jacob got his second when he had a shot that fooled the keeper and found the bottom corner.
Kell then played the pass of the match, cutting the Bold defence to shreds and Alfie scored easily. Alfie then went on a run that saw him cut back along the byline before setting up Max W who got another. Alfie rounded off the scoring with two goals late on. One after being set free by Max W and he last from a free kick that went straight into the corner.
At times it really was “like watching Brazil”. Well done boys!.
