Rosegrove Rebels 7-3 JHFC u10 Eagles
Yet again the Eagles came up against Rosegrove and yet again the game was superb. The team lined up with Ewan in goal, then Jacob C, Milly and super John Howarth at the back. Ewan looked steady in goal and played really well, Jacob covered superbly and played well for the team.
Milly had her best game yet getting stuck in, passing well and moving into space. John has been the Eagles star man this season, and he was rewarded for his fine work with another goal.
Max looked lively and gets better every game and he teamed up with George P in midfield.
George looked dangerous today and scored two superb goals.
Kiera and Callum came off the bench and got involved immediately, Callum played a great ball to George to score and Kiera looked very comfortable on the ball all game.
Kiera had a bit more aggression than usual and played well. Lola played her second ever game of football and started to win tackles.
We are all really proud of the development of this team and with a squad of 16 we can now put out a team of complete beginners and a team that could challenge the stronger teams.
